Rhino Ride 2021 – Rider
Rider entry includes your cycle entry, camping spot, conservation levy, and meals from Friday dinner through to Sunday lunch.
Day 1 is a 40km route, with the option of a 20km half route – along the way you will be treated to water tables stocked with goodies to fuel you on your way – not to mention the infamous beer table stop in the river bed – don’t overindulge as there is still another 5km to go to the finish line!!
Day 2 is a lovely Sunday stroll 30 km ride – an easy-breezy enjoyable ride with water tables full of snacks and drinks to motivate you to the finish line.
Cycling in a Big 5 game reserve is an incredibly special experience, we are not a race, but a ride to enjoy the breathtaking scenery that Manyoni Private Game Reserve has to offer.
The Rhino Ride route is carefully mapped out by Manyonis reserve manager Karen Odendaal and wildlife manager Dane Antrobus – these are the people who know the bush the best! All those epic single tracks, the loops that take you into the forests, and the scenic paths past the Msunduze river (dry river bed unless we get some late rains!) are all selected to give you the very best bike ride through the reserve.
All proceeds from this event go into the conservation projects that the Zululand Conservation Trust support – cycling for a good cause!
After tremendous response we have sold all 250 spaces for the 2021 Rhino Ride, should you wish to be added to our waiting list please email us on email@example.com
