Modern conservation relies on more than boots on the ground. To strengthen these efforts, the Zululand Conservation Trust has developed a Regional Conservation Operations Centre designed to support conservation partners throughout the region.

Rather than operating independently, rangers, conservation managers and partner organisations are able to share intelligence, improve communication and respond more effectively to emerging threats. Accommodation within the facility enables visiting teams to participate in extended training programmes, workshops and collaborative conservation initiatives. Dedicated K9 training facilities further strengthen wildlife protection by supporting specialised conservation units that play an important role in anti-poaching operations.
