We would like to start this mailer by saying a BIG thank you to everyone who
participated in Rhino Ride 2023- brought to you by Investec.
Through the participation of our riders and sponsors, we were able to raise more
than R1.2 million for the protection of Rhino! The Zululand Conservation Trust has
custodianship over the Manyoni Private Game Reserve, and these funds will be
used in the Anti-poaching and Canine Units of the reserve.
We are blown away and so grateful!
The Ride
The route comprises a full-route 40km or half-route 19km trail ride along Jeep tracks on Day 1, with a breakfast table, water table and beer table en-route. Day 2 sees all riders along a 29km track, with a breakfast and water table en-route.
The Campground
If you have elected to camp, please keep in mind that the race village is specifically set up for the Rhino Ride each year. There are hot showers and toilet facilities within the camp grounds.
We will provide charging stations for cell phones and Ebikes, however please note there are no plug points available within the campsite.
We aim to limit disturbance to the wildlife during the event and therefore please note that no music will be permitted within the camp ground.
We have a range of camping/glamping and accommodation options this year.
