THANK YOU, to each and every one of you for participating in our shareholders ride and directly contributing towards the conservation work the Zululand Conservation Trust in partnership with Manyoni Private Game Reserve.
A big thank you to all our Sponsors who ensured the Shareholders & Friends Ride was a success.
TOGETHER we have raised a WHOPPING R412 473.00
The Water tables along the way were jam packed with snacks & refreshing treats sponsored by the Encore team. With a special mention going out to Sensiri for their Water table, full of delicious home made kebabs and Amarula shots, which helped warm the riders up! They certainly have set the bar high for next year!
Stefan Terblanche once again sponsored Lemonlicious drinks as well as gin & Lemonlicious in the river bed, the riders loved it, thank-you Stefan!
A Big THANK-YOU needs to go out to the Encore team for their generous donations of goods and funds, including GO Energy Drinks, bottled water, supplies on route and in the river bed, and of course the fantastic Rhino Fire Lighters & other goodie bag items. Be sure to look out for the Rhino Fire Lighters at your nearest Spar, with each box sold a portion of funds will be donated to the Zululand Rhino Orphanage.
Thanks to Dylan Wuth from Ultra Liquors, for the donation of drinks for the event, it made for a very festive Friday night and similarly so for the Saturday afternoon drinks in the river. Ultra liquors‘ prices are very competitive and they provide excellent service – consider using them as your preferred supplier. Also, a mention to Chris Watkins for his sponsorship of Glenwood Wines. Thanks to Stefan for an extensive fines’ session, there was certainly bias in the issuing of fines but we won’t point any fingers.
Murray Collins and the Bayete team are amazing hosts of our event year after year, Bayete Zulu Homestead is a great venue for the Rhino Ride, thank-you! An important thank-you to Dianna Currie from Qualchem for donating sanitizer stands, dispensers, and masks to keep us all safe in these uncertain times.
Murray Collins and Keri Miller from East Coast Radio, both did a phenomenal job in promoting the auction items. Machaba Camp, African Waters & Bayete, sponsored by Murray & partners. A shout out to our bidders, Shaun Baxter, Calvin Koster, Brett Young, Rob Harvey, David Attenborough and Tyler Looms, who raised R250 000.00. The funds raised through the auction will be used for our Pangolin rehabilitation program.
