At Zululand Conservation Trust, our mission extends beyond protecting wildlife and natural habitats — we’re deeply committed to uplifting the communities that live alongside these conservation areas. This winter, we’re launching two meaningful initiatives to spread warmth and support where it’s needed most. Whether you want to donate a blanket or simply swipe your shopping card, there’s a way for everyone to get involved.

1. Winter Warmer Drive – Help Keep 170 Children Snug This Season
Let’s spread some warmth together! As the temperatures drop, we’re calling on our amazing supporters to help us ensure 170 young children at our early learning crèche centres stay warm and comforted. We’re collecting:
- Scarves
- Beanies
- Blankets
- Teddies
Every cozy item donated goes directly to a child in need. And if you don’t have warm items on hand, a financial contribution can go just as far — helping us purchase essential winter gear for these little ones. This is more than just a winter clothing drive. It’s a heartfelt opportunity to connect communities and conservation through compassion and care.
How to Get Involved:
- Call: 064 854 5834 or 082 526 2337
- Email: info@zululandconservationtrust.org
- Scan the QR code on our posters or website to donate online
Let’s make this our warmest, most impactful Winter Warmer drive yet!

2. School Uniforms
Creating a Brighter Future
The Zululand Conservation Trust is raising funds to provide school uniforms and shoes for learners at Vezukukhanya, Manyoni, and Obani Primary Schools. A donation of just R300 can give a child a uniform – and a boost in confidence, dignity, and opportunity.
We’re aiming to provide 147 uniforms and 932 pairs of school shoes, and we need your help to get there.
Scan the QR code to donate or contact us to sponsor a specific item.
Every contribution, no matter the size, will make a meaningful difference.
